Royal Danish State visit to Germany
Under the headline “Together for a sustainable future” HM The Queen and HRH The Crown Prince headed a state visit and business conference in Berlin last week. Royal Greenland took part in the exchange and were delighted to be invited to present and discuss our program of sustainable solutions within seafood.
With the purpose of re-confirming the strong bonds between Germany and Denmark as well as exchanging sustainable business solutions within the Food & Agriculture, Health and Energy the Royal State Visit in Berlin was well attended.
In the two-day business program with participation of top-politicians and -industry representatives it was clear that sustainability and concrete actions are subjects high on the agenda on both sides of the border.
Managing Director from Royal Greenland Vertriebs, Mr. René Stahlhofen, participated in the panel interview and discussions on how to make the Food Sector more sustainable by implementing a full value chain perspective on the resources used in the sector – a perspective that is deeply rooted in Royal Greenland’s company strategy.
Royal Greenland’s sustainability program is based on four priorities within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with goals for 2022 and ambitions for 2030.
