Royal Greenland appoints new Managing Director for Sales in North America
Snow crab industry expert Joanne Gibbons promoted to spearhead growth in US and Canada
In 2018 Royal Greenland set up a sales office in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. It is based on these first years of strong results in the market that it has now been decided to expand the targeted commitment to, in particular the snow crab category, but also other high-end seafood categories with growing demand in the North American market.
Royal Greenland has promoted former Snow Crab Category Manager Joanne Gibbons to lead market activities for sales and marketing.
Gibbons joined Royal Greenland in 2020 with over 20+ years’ experience with global seafood leaders such as Fishery Products and Ocean Choice International in the areas of sales, product - and category management.
The appointment of Gibbons will strengthen Royal Greenland in delivering commercial excellence for customers seeking high-end seafood products, both fresh and frozen, such as snow and king crab, lobster, cold water shrimp, Chilean seabass, Greenland turbot and Atlantic cod.
The group is optimistic about the outlook for the North American market and believe Gibbon’s expertise will be a key element to boost and maximize Royal Greenland’s portfolio sales to all channels of this market.
