Royal Greenland Appoints New EVP Production with International Experience and Insight into Greenlandic Operations
Royal Greenland has appointed Tom Kaster as its new Executive Vice President for Production.
Royal Greenland has appointed Tom Kaster as its new Executive Vice President for Production. Tom will assume his new role on June 1, 2026.
With a strong leadership profile and extensive experience from both the international food and pharmaceutical industries, Tom Kaster will take overall responsibility for Royal Greenland’s global operations – including factories, supply chain, logistics, and quality management.
Tom Kaster has previously been part of Royal Greenland’s management team and, as head of land-based produc-tion in Greenland, played a key role in a major transformation process. He now returns with an updated interna-tional perspective and broader experience, which will help strengthen Royal Greenland’s competitiveness and delivery reliability across markets.

The appointment is part of the ongoing development of Royal Greenland’s operations organization and the strengthening of the company’s position in global markets, where traceability, food safety, and efficient operations are key competitive parameters.
Tom Kaster holds a degree in chemical engineering and has completed the Executive Management Programme at INSEAD, one of the world’s leading business schools. He has previously held senior roles at Nordex Food, Fer-tin Pharma, Arla Foods, and System Frugt, where he led major operational and transformation projects.
