Halibut, Nuggets with spinach sauce, crispy batter

Greenland halibut has a sweet and buttery umami flavour and a soft, pleasant texture. The meat is very white and the flavour fully developed, due to the slow growth in the ice-cold waters of the North Atlantic and Arctic Oceans. Greenland halibut has a high natural content of the healthy omega-3 fatty acids (2.36 g/100 g) and potassium.

The prefried nuggets offer fast and easy cooking with a crisp surface and plenty of moisture to the meat inside. They are ideal for snack time, as an appetizer, side dish or as street food.

Ingredients

Halibut (50%) (fish), batter (35%): wheat flour (gluten), water, rapeseed oil, wheat starch (gluten), durum wheat (gluten), tapica dextrin, rice flour, salt, mustard powder (mustard), skimmed milk powder (milk), raising agent (E450,E500), dextrose, sunflower oil, yeast, black pepper extract; sauce (15%): spinach (6,7%), water, cream, waxy modified maize starch, parmesan (milk), salt, garlic paste (garlic, E330)), butter (milk), vegetable bulion (salt, yeast extract, maltodextrin, flavour (gluten), potato starch, sugar, rapeseed oil, rosemary extract), nutmeg, white pepper. Pre-fried in rapeseed oil.

Serving

The crisp breading and pleasant aromas are well complimented by creamy and acidic flavours such as a sour cream dip.

Cooking instructions

Prepare from frozen: OVEN: 200º C for 10-15 minutes. DEEP FRYER: 180º C for app. 4 minutes.
