Headquartered in Nuuk, with a workforce of 2,300 employees and an annual revenue of DKK 5.7 billion, the company plays a pivotal role in Greenland's economy and the global seafood industry. 

The organization is currently seeking a distinguished and strategically adept Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to guide its future growth and oversee the implementation of the ambitious new strategy, *Inua*, through 2027. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the entire value chain, encompassing fishing, production, and international sales, while further strengthening Royal Greenland’s position in key markets such as Asia, Europe, and North America.

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications

  • Proven experience in executive leadership, preferably as CEO or COO within an international company 

  • Comprehensive knowledge of food production and supply chain operations

  • Demonstrated political acumen and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments

  • Proficiency in Greenlandic/Scandinavian languages as well as English

 

The position is based at the company’s headquarters in Nuuk and reports directly to Royal Greenland’s Board of Directors.
