Insight into the Importance of Fisheries in Greenland: Visit from H.M. King Frederik X
During his visit to Greenland H.M. King Frederik X visited one of Royal Greenland’s factories
On Wednesday Royal Greenland was pleased to welcome H.M. King Frederik X in Nuuk as part of his visit to Greenland.
His majesty visited one of Royal Greenland's production facilities to provide a detailed insight into the initial stages of our value chain and the daily operations that support our global production.
During the visit, his majesty expressed strong interest in the role of fisheries as a cornerstone of Greenlandic society, as well as in how Royal Greenland operates across the entire country and how our products are distributed to global markets for the benefit of Greenland.
“It was a great honour to welcome H.M. King Frederik X to Royal Greenland. The fisheries sector forms the foundation of the Greenlandic economy, and it was a pleasure to experience his majesty’s genuine interest in the industry that supports communities across our country. We have previously had the privilege of engaging with his majesty during a business delegation visit to Japan, and we greatly appreciate the continued dialogue and attention to our work.”, says CEO, Toke Binzer.
