Royal Greenland has appointed Casper Villadsen as CFO.

Royal Greenland has appointed Casper Villadsen as CFO. He previously served as Deputy CFO and has been acting CFO since August. Casper Villadsen will also become a member of the company’s Executive Management Team (EMT).

The decision is based on an overall evaluation of Casper’s performance as acting CFO, his previous track record at Royal Greenland and a professional assessment conducted by an external firm. Taken together, this has confirmed that Casper is the right person to lead Royal Greenland’s Finance function.

“Casper has done an excellent job as Deputy CFO and, since August, has demonstrated that he is also ready to take on the responsibilities of CFO. He has an in-depth understanding of our business, is skilled at bringing people together and shares our ambitions for Royal Greenland. He therefore has the full support of the rest of the EMT,” says Toke Binzer, CEO of Royal Greenland.

Continued focus on financial performance

As CFO, Casper Villadsen will have overall responsibility for Royal Greenland’s Finance function. A key priority will be to continue Royal Greenland’s financial turnaround, with a focus on cost efficiency and strong financial performance. At the same time, he will strengthen collaboration and create greater alignment across the Finance function, markets and business areas.

As CFO, Casper will become a member of Royal Greenland’s Executive Management Team (EMT). The company’s statutory Executive Management will continue to consist of CEO Toke Binzer and EVP HR & Communication Bodil Marie Damgaard.
