Programme and framework
Royal Greenland’s sustainability programme is based on the company’s mission and is implemented in a number of focus areas, within four priorities
-
Sustainable business operation, with which we have worked on a structured basis since 2012, is a natural part of Royal Greenland’s identity.
-
Royal Greenland’s sustainability programme is reviewed on a quarterly basis by a Steering Group headed by the CEO. On an annual basis, the programme is approved by the Executive Board and submitted to the Supervisory Board.
-
From fisheries to sales, Royal Greenland is a fully vertically integrated company. The company’s internal value chain therefore includes a large number of stakeholders who continuously interact with each other and with the world at large.
-
As a company, Royal Greenland has a responsibility to address the material risks and use the opportunities arising in our business operations.
-
Royal Greenland’s sustainability programme is based on four priorities within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with goals for 2022 and ambitions for 2030.
-
Policies and publications within our sustainability programme are available to both customers and other stakeholders.
