Yellow tail flounder is a cost-efficient alternative to plaice. The meat is bright white with a firm texture to the meat. The yellow tail flounder is a lean fish and offers a mild and pleasant taste.

Breaded yellow tail flounder fillets offer a rapid, tasty and easy way to cook and serve fish that is simple to use as part of a recipe or as an individual menu item on a buffet. They are ovenable straight from the freezer.


Yellow tail flounder fillets (fish) (54%), breading (46%): Wheat flour, water, rapeseed oil, semolina wheat, potato starch, salt, dextrose, yeasts, natural flavouring, white pepper. Product pre-fried in rapeseed oil. A few bones my remain.


The mild and delicate aromas of the yellow tail flounder are well accompanied by savoury flavours. The fillets are well suited for fast cooking.

Cooking instructions

Oven: Bake in pre-heated oven 12-15 minutes at 180°C Frying pan: Product fried in frozen form for about 3-4 minutes on each side
