Yellow tail flounder is a cost-efficient alternative to plaice. The meat is bright white with a firm texture to the meat. The yellow tail flounder is a lean fish and offers a mild and pleasant taste.

The fully cooked and breaded yellow tail flounder fillets are ready to eat after defrosting, but are also well suited for a gentle heating.

Ingredients

Yellowtail flounder fillet (fish) (60%), breading (40%); wheat flour, water, rapeseed oil, potato starch, salt, dextrose, yeasts, white pepper, natural flavourings. Product fried in rapeseed oil. 

Serving

The mild and delicate aromas of the yellow tail flounder are well accompanied by savoury flavors. The fillets are well suited for fast cooking.

Cooking instructions

The fully cooked fillets have been prepared to a core temperature of 72°C. Thus the fillets do only need to thaw before serving. The frozen fillets can be heated for 15 minutes at 185°C in a pre-heated oven.

Thawing instructions

Defrost in fridge at +5°C for 24 hours. After defrosting keep at +5°C and consume within max 5 days. For best results consume directly after defrosting.
