Barents Sea prawn fishery MSC certified

The trawl fishery for cold-water prawns in the Barents Sea has been awarded with the MSC certification for "Well managed and sustainable fishery".
The certification covers the entire 2017 fishery, meaning that prawns caught since the beginning of the fishing season on April 2nd are included in the certification.
Royal Greenland's Akamalik, Qaqqatsiaq and Nartarnaq trawlers all fish in the area regularly. Royal Greenland's packaging will be updated with the blue and white MSC logo on an ongoing basis.
