Patagonian toothfish, also known as Chilean sea bass, has a pleasant, mild umami flavour with hints of butter, nuts and sweetness. It is loved for its high meat quality – snow-white, firm and juicy meat that separates into large, soft flakes.
Our Patagonian tootfish originates from an artisanal, longline fishery, conducted by local fishermen, in the cold waters of southern Chile. The fish is processed in local processing facilities, close to the fishing ground.
The thick, meaty fillet portions are hand-cut from the large fillets, and offers a uniform, premium eating experience. The fillet portions are individually vacuum packed (IVP) for optimal storage during transport and convenient portion control in the kitchen.
