Our Product Development Team seeks to inspire and develop the seafood industry.

In Royal Greenland we have an experienced Product Development Team of our own. The award-winning team members are highly creative and innovative people and they are the source of continuous supply of new and unique products and processing technologies. Their specialist knowledge covers the seafood industry and the food industry in general.

The team is placed strategically in relation to Royal Greenland’s main markets with representatives in Denmark, Germany and Poland. In addition, the team cooperates with external representatives and research institutes all over Europe.

We test our new products and adapt to local tastes

In Denmark the team has a pilot plant available for thorough testing of new products before launch into the market. This also enables us to cooperate closely with customers and ensure that the ideas conceived are doable in practice.

Furthermore, we gather market information and cooperate with local food institutes, development institutes and customers in all markets in order to ensure products adapted to local tastes and preferences. Products are tested in the market and in taste panels before launch in order to ensure that the product fulfils the strict demands posed by consumers and end-users today.
