At Royal Greenland we are proud to have the world’s first academy for factory workers.

When Greenlandic weather conditions prevent production at Royal Greenland’s plants in Greenland, factory workers develop other skills at the Royal Greenland Academy. The Academy is our educational platform for our trusted workers at the factories.

Our employees help compose a diverse study programme

One of the Academy’s activities is a flexible study programme at the factories in Greenland, which regularly suffer production stops due to weather factors. The program consists of a series of courses compiled according to the desires of the staff, in co-operation with the local factory management, the municipalities and relevant educational institutions.
The study programmes encompass both professional courses and, for example, languages and other general subjects. Creative courses are available too as well as lectures delivered by national and international experts.
