Innovation and experienced employees in Denmark

In Denmark, Royal Greenland owns two production sites specialised in shellfish: a brine and MAP factory in Glyngøre and a prawn packing facility in Aalborg.

Both factories employ dedicated and experienced staff. Royal Greenland’s Innovation Centre is located in Glyngøre. The Innovation Centre develops and test new products in cooperation with customers.

Raw material

Production is primarily based on the unique prawns from Greenland, both cooked and peeled and shell on, but warm water prawns, mussels, crayfish and surimi are also processed here.

Products

The assortment consists of all types of seafood in brine, marinade and modified atmosphere packed products. In addition, a variety of frozen prawns, natural or coated in marinade, both single and double frozen are produced.
